How HaminoX works

Why pre-formed amino acids do something that nitrogen alone cannot.

The short version

Plants don't use nitrogen. They use amino acids.

When you apply urea or DAP, the plant takes up nitrate and ammonium. Neither is directly useful. The plant has to run those through its own metabolism to build amino acids, and only then can it make proteins, enzymes, chlorophyll and new tissue.

That conversion is expensive. It burns carbon and energy the plant would otherwise spend on growth. And it slows down under exactly the conditions where growers need it most: heat, salinity, drought, transplant shock.

HaminoX supplies the amino acids already assembled. The plant absorbs them and puts them straight to work.

How it's made

Four steps, in order.

HaminoX is manufactured in Karachi from upcycled protein waste — a material that would otherwise go to landfill.

Recovery and sorting

Protein-rich waste is collected from local partners, sorted, and cleared of anything that is not usable feedstock.

Cleaning

The material is washed to remove oils, residues and surface contaminants before it enters the process.

Controlled hydrolysis

The protein is broken down under controlled conditions, cleaving the long chains into short peptides and free amino acids. This is the step that determines the quality of the finished product.

Neutralisation and filtration

The hydrolysate is brought to a soil-safe pH and filtered. What leaves the facility is a clean liquid nutrient, ready to dilute.

In the field

Where it fits in your season.

Start at the two-to-three true leaf stage, or around 14 days after transplanting. Repeat every 14 days for four to six applications.

The two highest-value timings are just before flowering and at early fruit set — but the applications before those are what build the root system carrying the crop.

Applying only at fruiting is the most common mistake. By then the plant's capacity is already fixed.

Circular by design

Made from something that was going to be thrown away.

Pakistan imports agricultural inputs it could manufacture, and landfills materials it could use. HaminoX exists in the space between those two facts. Every litre diverts protein waste from disposal and turns it into crop nutrition.
